What guests say
9 / 10 · Wonderful on Booking.com, from 297 guest reviews
The Attwater earns consistently strong praise for its prime Newport location, beautifully decorated rooms, and warm, knowledgeable staff — with standout mentions of the breakfast, evening cookies, and free parking. However, prospective guests should be aware of the lack of an elevator (a real issue for upper-floor rooms with heavy luggage), variable soundproofing, and occasional inconsistency in breakfast quality. Overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with most guests rating it a rewarding boutique alternative to larger hotels.
