What guests say
8.6 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 661 guest reviews
The Heathman earns consistent praise for its prime downtown Portland location, warm and professional staff, and handsome historic atmosphere — but bathrooms are frequently flagged as outdated or small, and ongoing lobby construction affected several recent stays. A handful of guests also noted frustrations with valet-only parking logistics and opaque billing practices, suggesting the hotel's charm is real but some operational and maintenance details need attention.
