What guests say
8.3 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 286 guest reviews
Boxwood Lodge earns consistent praise for its cleanliness, walkable location near Blowing Rock's town centre, and attentive staff, making it a reliable base for exploring the area. However, several guests flag the outdated rooms, small spaces, noisy AC, and pricing that some feel doesn't match the basic amenities — and one serious safety concern about an unstable handicap ramp warrants attention. Overall sentiment is positive but tempered by the property's age and value-for-money questions.
