What guests say
8.8 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 415 guest reviews
Horizon Inn & Ocean View Lodge earns consistently high praise for its prime walkable location in Carmel, charming grounds with a spa and fire pit, and thoughtful touches like in-room breakfast basket deliveries and a nightly wine-and-cheese hour. Minor gripes surface around bed firmness, tight parking, and the distance of Annex rooms from the main building, and a handful of guests noted the lack of a pool and the higher price point. Overall sentiment across these reviews is overwhelmingly positive, with most guests eager to return.
