What guests say
8.5 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 855 guest reviews
The Carmel Bay View Inn earns consistently strong sentiment, driven almost entirely by its unbeatable walkable location in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea, reliable cleanliness, and free parking — rare perks in this village. However, noise transmission between rooms and floors is a recurring frustration, and the included breakfast is seen as token rather than a genuine amenity, with dated décor and the absence of air conditioning noted as minor but real drawbacks.
