What guests say
9 / 10 · Wonderful on Booking.com, from 186 guest reviews
The Sailmaker's House earns consistently high praise for its unbeatable central Portsmouth location, charming historic character, and exceptionally comfortable beds — with friendly staff and complimentary refreshments adding to the welcome. The main caveats are compact room sizes that can make luggage management awkward, and occasional difficulty controlling the air conditioning. Overall sentiment across these reviews is overwhelmingly positive, with the vast majority of guests rating it highly and recommending it without hesitation.
