What guests say
8.6 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 252 guest reviews
The Upham Hotel earns consistently high praise for its stunning, well-maintained gardens, peaceful atmosphere, and attentive staff, making it a charming retreat in a walkable Santa Barbara location. However, practical shortcomings — including limited parking, steep narrow staircases, dated room interiors, and occasional noise or dampness issues — temper an otherwise very positive guest experience. Scores are overwhelmingly strong, suggesting these drawbacks are minor for most visitors.
