What guests say
8.3 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 1,607 guest reviews
El Castell Motel earns broadly positive sentiment for its clean, spacious rooms, convenient parking, and popular indoor pool, making it a solid budget-friendly base near Monterey. However, recurring complaints about road and aircraft noise, inconsistent housekeeping, and a location that requires a drive to main attractions temper the overall experience. Pricing during peak events like Car Week is flagged as poor value by several guests.
