What guests say
8.2 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 3,010 guest reviews
Arbor Inn Monterey earns consistent praise for its unbeatable location near Cannery Row and the wharf, reliable cleanliness, and good value for the area. However, multiple guests flag noticeably dated rooms and bathrooms, worn mattresses, and minor operational issues — including an impersonal screen-based check-in and towel shortages — that prevent it from feeling fully polished. It delivers on the basics for a budget-friendly stay, but travellers expecting modern comforts may be disappointed.
