What guests say
9 / 10 · Wonderful on Booking.com, from 534 guest reviews
The Oceano Hotel earns overwhelmingly positive sentiment for its prime Half Moon Bay Harbor location, beautifully decorated rooms, harbour views, and genuinely warm staff. However, a recurring theme across multiple reviews is that the price point feels hard to justify given the absence of breakfast, a pool, or a hot tub, and a handful of guests flagged practical niggles such as outdated TVs, noise from the bar and surroundings, and maintenance issues in the fitness centre and bathrooms. Overall, it delivers a high-quality coastal atmosphere but could better match its amenities to its premium rates.
