What guests say
8.2 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 235 guest reviews
Jefferson Street Inn earns consistent praise for its prime downtown Wausau location, spacious rooms, free parking, and largely friendly staff, making it a solid base for city visits or theater-goers. However, recurring complaints about breakfast quality and pricing, maintenance issues (heating, worn mattresses, poor bathroom lighting), and the surrounding area's panhandling concerns suggest the property would benefit from meaningful upkeep investment. Overall sentiment is positive but tempered by value-for-money concerns, particularly in the off-season.
