What guests say
8.7 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 194 guest reviews
The Waterfront Hotel earns consistent praise for its cleanliness, convenient location, friendly staff, and on-site dining, with most guests leaving satisfied and willing to return. However, a recurring frustration is the misleading 'waterfront' designation — several guests found their views overlooked a swamp or slough rather than a proper river — and minor but repeated annoyances include self-closing bathroom doors, noise transmission between rooms, and quality gaps (pillows, tap water, gym equipment) that feel mismatched with the higher price point.
