What guests say
8.3 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 234 guest reviews
The Stella Hotel & Ballroom wins consistent praise for its prime downtown location, characterful historic building, and well-regarded restaurant and café. However, recurring housekeeping lapses — missing towels, unrestocked supplies — and multiple broken in-room amenities point to operational inconsistencies, likely worsened by a recent management transition and staffing shortages. Guests who prioritise atmosphere and walkability tend to leave satisfied, but those expecting reliable room upkeep may be disappointed.
