What guests say
8.7 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 64 guest reviews
Echo Lake Inn earns overwhelmingly positive sentiment, with guests consistently praising its warm, accommodating staff, excellent farm-to-table breakfasts, and authentic New England charm in a historic 1840s property. The main recurring drawbacks are the compact rooms and bathrooms, noise from Route 100 traffic, and loud or unreliable window AC units — limitations that most guests accept given the inn's age but which can affect comfort. Those who go in with realistic expectations of a genuinely old Vermont inn tend to leave thoroughly charmed.
