What guests say
8.9 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 337 guest reviews
The Carpenter Hotel earns overwhelmingly positive sentiment for its distinctive Austin character — lush greenery, thoughtful historic-modern design, a beloved pool and patio oasis, and an on-site restaurant and coffee bar that genuinely impress. A handful of guests flag practical drawbacks: on-site parking costs and logistics catch some off guard, a few found queen-room beds less than comfortable, and isolated housekeeping or noise issues were noted. Overall, it reads as a well-loved boutique property that delivers strongly on atmosphere and location, with minor operational rough edges.
