What guests say
8.6 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 536 guest reviews
Chalet Motel earns strong, largely enthusiastic reviews for its unbeatable location near Custer State Park, charming rustic cottages, and an exceptionally helpful owner. The trade-off is compact, somewhat dated rooms — with isolated issues like a smoky unit, a malfunctioning fridge, and limited ventilation — though most guests consider the small size reasonable given the attractive price point. Overall sentiment is very positive, with the majority of reviewers saying they would return.
