Check availability
Retreat at Mountain Sky is a bed & breakfast in Scott, Pennsylvania, built around one three-bedroom house that sleeps up to twelve. It suits groups or families who want more space than a standard hotel room provides — there is a full kitchen, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a fireplace, and BBQ facilities on site. Guests consistently rate the property highly, and free parking is included. Pets are welcome, which removes a common logistical headache for travellers with animals. The setup reads more like a self-contained rental than a traditional B&B.
Should you book Mountain Sky Retreat?
A fully equipped, self-catering house in Scott, PA, with enough room for large groups and no shortage of practical appliances.
Best for
- Large family gatherings
- Group getaways
- Pet owners
- Travellers who prefer cooking over eating out
Maybe not ideal for
- Solo travellers or couples seeking a smaller stay
- Those wanting hotel-style daily services
Outdoor space and BBQ
The property has a patio and barbecue facilities, giving a large group somewhere to cook and eat outside. The balcony adds another outdoor option, useful on clear Pennsylvania evenings when everyone does not want to be indoors.
Fireplace and living area
Inside, a fireplace anchors the living area — a practical feature in a Pennsylvania climate that can turn cold quickly. Board games and puzzles are also available, which makes the space functional for groups spending time in rather than out.
Fully loaded kitchen
The kitchen runs to a full oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and toaster. For a group of twelve, that level of equipment matters. Cooking most meals in-house is genuinely workable rather than a compromise.
Pet-friendly throughout
Pets are welcome at the property. For travellers who do not want to arrange pet care or find separate accommodation for animals, this is one of the more straightforward options in the area.
