What guests say
8.5 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 485 guest reviews
The Hillcrest Inn wins consistent praise for its exceptionally warm, family-run hospitality, unbeatable walkable location, and charming homey touches like loaner beach toys, games, movies, and complimentary snacks. However, guests should be aware that the older building comes with real drawbacks — notably limited and tight parking, poor sound insulation, and some visible wear including wobbly stairs and peeling paint. For travellers who prioritise character, personal service, and value over polished modern facilities, it delivers strongly.
