What guests say
8.9 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 291 guest reviews
The Bowline Hotel earns consistently strong praise for its unbeatable waterfront location on the Columbia River, charming converted-cannery character, and welcoming staff — making it a standout boutique option in Astoria. However, a recurring theme is that rates feel steep, and light sleepers should note potential disturbances from nearby sea lions, bar noise, and limited ventilation or AC in some rooms. Overall guest sentiment is highly positive, with most visitors saying they would return.
