What guests say
8.2 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 603 guest reviews
The Avon Motel earns consistent praise for its unbeatable beach-side location, clean rooms, and genuinely friendly staff, making it a solid choice for no-frills coastal stays. However, guests should be aware that the property is visibly dated — with thin walls, aging fixtures, and occasional maintenance issues — and room comfort and amenities can feel sparse. Overall sentiment is warmly positive, with several guests stating they would return, provided expectations are calibrated to a budget motel rather than a resort.
