What guests say
7.9 / 10 · Good on Booking.com, from 143 guest reviews
Sara Placid Inn & Suites earns consistently positive marks for its central Saranac Lake location, clean and comfortable rooms, and easy check-in process, making it a solid budget-friendly base for exploring the area. However, recurring criticisms around dated interiors, an uninviting exterior, inconsistent housekeeping on multi-night stays, and poor winter maintenance of the parking area suggest the property would benefit from targeted upkeep and better guest communication. Overall sentiment is warm but tempered by a sense that the inn is coasting on good bones rather than delivering a fully polished experience.
