What guests say
8.4 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 312 guest reviews
The Mohican Motel earns consistently positive sentiment as a clean, quiet, and well-priced no-frills base for visiting Cooperstown, with its walkable proximity to Main Street and the Baseball Hall of Fame being its standout strength. Staff friendliness and the peaceful, semi-rural setting — complete with visiting deer — are regularly highlighted as genuine pluses. However, recurring complaints about noisy AC units, an aging building fabric, limited after-hours amenities, and occasional maintenance oversights temper the experience for guests expecting modern comforts.
