What guests say
7.9 / 10 · Good on Booking.com, from 238 guest reviews
Matterhorns Hunter Lodge earns consistent praise for its cleanliness, convenient location, and relative value in an otherwise pricey area, with extras like a game room and firepit adding appeal. However, the fully contactless, staff-free experience frustrates guests who encounter problems, and recurring niggles — poor-quality towels, inadequate coffee, dim lighting, and snug room sizes — prevent it from feeling truly polished. Overall sentiment is positive but tempered by straightforward operational shortcomings that could be easily addressed.
