What guests say
9.3 / 10 · Wonderful on Booking.com, from 571 guest reviews
Amsterdam Castle is warmly received as a one-of-a-kind historic property, with guests consistently praising its castle atmosphere, period decor, art, antiques, and attentive family-run service. The most recurring complaint centres on the lack of on-site dining — no breakfast is served and the grand dining room is rarely open, leaving guests reliant on nearby restaurants. For travellers who value character and history over hotel amenities, it is widely regarded as a hidden gem well worth seeking out.
