What guests say
8.5 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 201 guest reviews
The Jolly Roger Motel earns consistently warm praise for its genuinely friendly, accommodating staff and its convenient location near the beach and pool area, making it a solid choice for families and beach-goers. However, several guests flag that the property is aging and in need of meaningful upkeep — from cracked shower tiles and a makeshift cardboard door panel to noisy window AC units and thin pillows — suggesting the physical facilities lag behind the hospitality on offer. For travellers who prioritise character, value, and service over modern finishes, it delivers, but those expecting a polished, well-maintained motel may find it falls short.
