What guests say
8 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 177 guest reviews
The Carson Valley Motor Lodge offers clean, spacious rooms at competitive prices in a convenient location near Lake Tahoe, making it a solid stopover choice. However, guests consistently flag practical drawbacks — no elevator in the motor lodge building, noisy HVAC units, a separate check-in process at the adjacent casino, and some housekeeping lapses — that temper the otherwise positive sentiment. Most guests found it acceptable for the price, though those expecting full hotel amenities directly on-site may be disappointed.
