Guests consistently praise the hotel's excellent location, spotless rooms, and charming retro-remodeled aesthetic, making it a reliable and comfortable base for most short stays. However, recurring practical complaints — firm mattresses, poor lighting design, thin walls, small bathrooms lacking basic fixtures, and occasional HVAC or appliance malfunctions — suggest the renovation left some functional details unfinished. Overall sentiment is positive and the majority of guests leave satisfied, though longer stays may expose the room's limitations.
