What guests say
8.9 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 167 guest reviews
Star Gate Motel earns consistently strong reviews for its exceptional cleanliness, supremely comfortable beds, and smooth contactless check-in process. Minor but recurring drawbacks include a cramped shower with a low showerhead, insufficient room-darkening options, and a lack of working amenities like a desk and extra outlets. Overall guest sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with most visitors considering it excellent value for a clean, quiet overnight stop in northern Michigan.
