What guests say
8.8 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 1,286 guest reviews
The Atheneum Suite Hotel earns consistently strong sentiment for its prime downtown Detroit location, generously sized suites, and attentive staff — making it a reliable base for concerts, sports events, and Greektown dining. Recurring drawbacks include expensive valet-only parking, bathrooms and room furnishings that feel dated or worn, and a breakfast offering that falls short of the overall standard. For guests prioritising space, character, and convenience over a fully modernised experience, it delivers solid value.
