What guests say
8 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 263 guest reviews
The Earl of Sandwich Motel earns consistently positive sentiment for its clean, recently renovated rooms, pleasant duck pond grounds, and helpful staff — making it a comfortable and cosy base near Sandwich's beaches and town centre. However, a non-functional, visibly green pool is a recurring and significant complaint across nearly all recent reviews, with guests frustrated by the lack of warning or compensation given that it is advertised as an amenity. The dated exterior and a handful of minor maintenance niggles temper what is otherwise a well-regarded, good-value motel.
