What guests say
8.8 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 960 guest reviews
The Van Buren Hotel earns consistently strong marks for cleanliness, warm staff, and a convenient location near Shipshewana's shops and Blue Gate Theater, with many guests returning multiple times. However, a recurring complaint about overly soft pillows and at least one report of housekeeping being skipped entirely suggest some operational inconsistencies worth noting. Breakfast draws mixed reactions — praised by many for its hot, varied spread, but criticised by others for quality lapses like mushy eggs.
