What guests say
8.4 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 1,855 guest reviews
The New Haven Hotel earns broadly positive reviews for its excellent downtown location — walkable to Yale, the Green, and local dining — along with clean, spacious rooms and generally friendly staff. However, the absence of a proper complimentary breakfast is a recurring frustration, and a handful of guests flagged inconsistent front-desk conduct, unexpected charges, and rooms that feel basic relative to the nightly rate. It remains a solid, well-located choice as long as expectations are calibrated accordingly.
