What guests say
9.4 / 10 · Wonderful on Booking.com, from 229 guest reviews
Old School Lodge earns overwhelmingly positive sentiment for its spacious, spotlessly clean rooms, charming converted-schoolhouse character, and thoughtful in-room touches like snacks, humidifiers, and premium towels. The fully remote, keycode-based operation is the most consistent concern — guests who needed on-site assistance during lockouts faced waits exceeding an hour, and a handful noted the lack of a proper breakfast and the out-of-town location as minor drawbacks. For travellers who value atmosphere, comfort, and independence over traditional hotel services, it consistently surpasses expectations.
