What guests say
8.6 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 1,697 guest reviews
The Lazy J Ranch Motel earns consistently strong praise for its unbeatable proximity to Sequoia National Park, genuinely warm staff, and charming ranch atmosphere complete with resident animals, hummingbird feeders, and a pool that families adore. A handful of guests flag practical shortcomings — notably noisy AC units, hard beds, outdated room décor, and the absence of any on-site dining — but these are largely outweighed by the property's character, cleanliness, and excellent value. Overall sentiment across the reviewed stays is very positive, with most guests saying they would return.
