What guests say
8.6 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 374 guest reviews
Basecamp Tahoe City earns overwhelmingly positive sentiment, with nearly every reviewer highlighting its prime walkable location and consistently warm, welcoming staff. Rooms are praised as clean, well-decorated, and comfortable, with charming outdoor communal spaces adding to the appeal. The only recurring gripes are firm mattresses and the absence of a microwave — minor niggles that do little to dent an otherwise strong reputation.
