What guests say
8 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 82 guest reviews
River Terrace Inn earns consistent praise for its prime Napa riverfront location, spacious rooms, scenic outdoor fire-pit patio, and warm staff, making it a genuinely appealing base for exploring the valley. However, a recurring theme of limited and unreliable dining — including a restaurant that closes early or is unexpectedly shut — combined with complaints about hidden fees, inconsistent maintenance, and pricing that several guests felt wasn't justified by the amenities, tempers the overall experience. Sentiment is broadly positive but with enough operational shortcomings to give prospective guests pause.
