What guests say
8 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 184 guest reviews
Apple Tree Inn earns consistently positive marks for its spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and genuinely peaceful setting close to Julian — making it a solid retreat from nearby city life. However, recurring practical niggles around the remote check-in process, inconsistent A/C performance, and weak shower pressure prevent it from feeling fully polished. Guests who value quiet, rustic charm and dog-friendly surroundings tend to leave happiest, while those expecting standard in-person hotel conveniences may need to adjust expectations.
