What guests say
9 / 10 · Wonderful on Booking.com, from 414 guest reviews
The Squibb Houses earns overwhelmingly positive sentiment, with guests consistently singling out its exceptional breakfasts, historic charm, beautiful gardens, and convenient central location with free parking. The main recurring concerns are steep upper-floor stairs (with insufficient room-level disclosure at booking), occasional minor maintenance issues, and a self-check-in format that some find impersonal. Overall, it is highly regarded as a characterful, peaceful retreat, though guests with mobility limitations or a preference for hotel-style service should note its B&B nature.
