What guests say
8.9 / 10 · Very good on Booking.com, from 450 guest reviews
The Padre Hotel earns consistently high marks as the standout lodging option in downtown Bakersfield, with guests repeatedly praising its warm, attentive staff, stylish renovation of a historic building, and solid on-site bar and restaurant. Recurring gripes are practical rather than serious — mandatory valet parking at $18 per night, the absence of a breakfast offering, and occasional closures of the rooftop — but these rarely dampen an otherwise very positive experience.
